The ThermTrace X series heating cable is a self-regulating cable with a wide range of applications, designed to operate at very high temperatures. These cables are effective for frost protection in extreme conditions, heating pipelines with flow, and are also used in industries like petrochemical, oil, and gas for various applications.

ThermTrace X series heating cables find their application as:

Construction:

Self-regulating heating tapes consist of two parallel conductors embedded in a semi-conductive self-regulating matrix. This means that the heating cable automatically responds to changes in external conditions. As the temperature rises, the synthetic material expands through molecular forces, and the connections between carbon molecules decrease, reducing the load. When the temperature drops, the load increases because the connections between carbon molecules grow. Therefore, the heating power changes in accordance with the surface temperature to which the tape is applied.
